How Movie Studios are undeliberately killing Theaters

First, we have to eliminate 2 Myths:

(1). 3D is dead Myth:

Well here are the movies that released in 3D in 2K21:

Godzilla VS. Kong $468 million (90+% from 3D Screenings)

Fast & Furious 9 $726 million (about $500+ million from 3D screenings)

Black Widow $379 million

Free Guy $331 million

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings $432 million

Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage $502 million

No Time To Die $774 million (around $500 million from 3D Screenings)

Dune $400 million

Eternals $402 million

Spider-Man No Way Home $1.8 billion (around 85% from 3D Screenings. Take that Avatar with your 71%, LOL)

Sing 2 $312 million

(2). IMAX makes money Myth:

Here are the 2D Only Movies that had IMAX screenings in 2021:

Mortal Kombat $83 million

Hitman's Wife Bodyguard $70 million

Snake Eyes $40 million

The Suicide Squad 2 $166 million

Reminiscence $15 million

Ghostbusters Afterlife $197 million

Matrix 4 Resurrections $156 million

The pattern, correlation to explain which 2021 Movies made more then $300 million and which ones made less then $200 million is 3D VS. 2D. There is Literally no other way to explain this pattern of Box Office successes VS. Box Office failures.

If Warner Bros. wants The Batman (2K22) to make money, they should give Matt Reeves what he wants and release the Stereoscopic 3D Copy of his Batman movie, so people can see all the hard work he put into making his movie with 3D in mind from the ground up. Estimates: if Batman releases in 180+ countries in the world in 2D only, it will make $150 to $250 million in its 90 days in the Box Office, and if release in 3D & 2D in 180+ countries in the world; it will make $1.5 to $2.5 billion in the Box Office. So why is Warner Bros. not releasing Matt Reeves intended 3D copy of The Batman is beyond me, but by not doing so; they screw over Matt Reeves & Robert Pattinson from their backdoor deal's that gives them an additional $10 million each if the movie breaks the $1 billion barrier in the Box Office. So this is just another case of Hollywood Studios like Warner Bros. finding new ways to screw their Directors and Actors in the ass (metaphorically). Its a great case; if someone like Robert Pattinson should ever want to sue Warner Bros.

Now on to the Fragility of Movie Theaters:

Movie Theater's have barely avoid going out of business, while many others have gone the way of the dinosaurs. The truth is, we have had 2D as an option for over 100 years, and popcorn hasn't been exclusive to theaters since the 1950's or earlier, and all movies have been in COLOR since the 60's or earlier. You can watch T.V. in COLOR in Monoscopic 2D at home. You have to take a trip to go to the movie theater's these days, because you can do virtually everything from home and save yourself hours a day of your time, which will add up to a year or so of free time to invest in yourself (binge watching, exercising, video gaming; you name it). I mean you can have everything deliver to you, and you only have to wait 90 days to stream a movie at home. 4K HD Movies (35mm film) have been around since 1924, with all movies being in 4K since the 1930's. We have HD TV's since the 1950's. Everyone has gotten a 4K T.V. for as low as $600 or cheaper. All of today's Smartphones are 4K and 8K HD in their display at an even cheaper costs. 5G advance Cellular networks and 5 GB Home Wi-Fi is here for 240 hz 8K streaming. 2021 has seen 60+% of Box Office coming from 3D Screenings despite the overwhelming number of Monoscopic 2D Only movies to artificially inflate 2D's numbers. IMAX only manage to make up like 5-% of the Global Box Office when you include all the non-IMAX movies that came out in 2021. Another factor that movie studios seem to be turning a blind eye to; is that the Pandemic has disrupted most people's daily routine, which made them develop Critical Thinking.

The only Movies that made money during their 2nd & 3rd month (during 2021) were 3D movies from their 3D Screenings, with the exception of Spider-Man No Way Home which made money from both 2D & 3D screenings during its 2nd & 3rd month in the Box Office.

Back around March 1st, 2020 the first place people were way to quick & willing to quit during the COVID-19 Pandemic was the Cinema's. People simply have no reason to go to the theaters and are looking for any excuse to not go. People during 2020 went out of their way to travel across the country on Thanksgiving to visit family they hate and can't stand, but they wouldn't bother traveling a few miles to a theater. That should tell you how much trouble movie theaters are in in the 2020's.

It's not a coincidence that 3D skyrocketed in popularity in 2K19 and continue skyrocketing even more so when Theaters reopen after a year long hiatus in 2K21, and continue gaining more popularity in August 2021 and further up the ante in December 2021, meanwhile 2D has continue to decline in theaters even more so:

3D and D-Box (3D) and 4DX in 3D are the only reasons for people to justify wasting their time to make a roundtrip to the theater plus time & money in the theater; always waiting in line to purchase a ticket and waiting in another line to purchase food you can have at home, and even waiting in line to sometimes use the restroom, which isn't busy in your own home's bathroom.

The biggest problem with Hollywood being run by 99% White People; is that today's Box Office is 95% us Millennials & Generation Z'ers, and its also mostly us People of Color. I wouldn't mind the Studio's boards not representing the consumers who fund their business, if they were tailoring the business to us consumer's, but this is why a non-diverse board never works, because its never representative of the consumers they serve; it never delivers what the consumers want, and therefore barely makes any money. If the Studio board could be diverse in demographic with B.I.P.O.C., LGBTQ+ members and more Women included, then they could make actions that would actually deliver to consumers of theatrical release movies, and therefore actually be a successful business; going forward into the 2020's and beyond.

Long story short: people don't need movie theaters nor movie studios. What Studios and Theaters put out is a Luxury. They need us, its just ashame they don't act like it.
