BERNIE BERNIE BERNIE

Can Bernie get the Democratic nomination for President? More importantly, could he win in a general election for President? I wish I knew.

Bernie Sander's is a hell of a guy. In fact, I don't think he's ever uttered a word that I didn't agree with. Then again neither have my first and second choices for President. And unlike Bernie, my No1 & No2 choices are so formidable, so beloved, there is no doubt in my mind that they would wipe the floor with the best the Greedy Old Party clown parade could put forth. The problem is neither one is running for President, nor is it likely they will.

You see Pope Francis already has a big important job, plus like Ted Cruz, he wasn't born in the US or any of it's possessions. And even though, like Ted Cruz, his mother is American, I'm afraid it's South American. So unfortunately the Pope is disqualified.

Elizabeth Warren, however does meet the qualifications and unlike half GOP the clown bus, highly qualified to be the leader of the free world. Unfortunately, Elizabeth has other—I have no doubt—important plans.

That leaves us with Bernie and Hilary and so far three other Democratic contenders. Hilary would probably win the nomination and the Presidency and I could live with that. Trouble is after Pope Francis, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, Hilary doesn't seem so hot.

Francis, Warren and Sanders are like advocates for everyone from two percent down to the ultra-poor and homeless. They are for you and me and everyone who struggles through life (even TeaPublicans) and aren't worth a few million smackeroos.

That's what puts Bernie back in my picture. He's for me and you. You can feel it and you can smell it. And if you're smart and not a 1 or 2%er, he should be in your picture too.
